In a Facebook poll of 3,631 respondents, 26.8% chose “18. Jaylen Baron TEEN”. How we count
Amneris Vazquez grabbed the lead on day 2 and built it into a real cushion — up 27% to Lexi Brooks by day 6, still ahead by 25% to Jaylen Baron on day 7. Six straight days on top, out of nine total. Then day 8 hit and Jaylen surged past her, riding a wave of votes that flipped the whole board in about 24 hours.
Jaylen held on to close it out: 26.8% to 25.1%, a gap of just 1.7 points across 3,631 votes. The geography explains the swing — the U.S. (2,549 votes) leaned Jaylen, while Puerto Rico's 156 votes leaned hard for Amneris, not nearly enough to cover the mainland surge that arrived with one day left.
- Day 8 flip · Jaylen overtook Amneris with just one day left to vote
- Six-day reign · Amneris led from day 2 through day 7 before losing it
- 1.7-point margin · Final gap between the top two out of 3,631 votes
- Country split · U.S. backed Jaylen; Puerto Rico backed Amneris
