Hayır dominated the referendum poll with 1,416 of 1,640 votes, finishing at 86.3%. Evet drew 189 votes, while Boykot edeceğim reached 35. Hayır led at every checkpoint, with no rival changing the shape of the contest.

The recorded gender totals also favored Hayır: 31 men and 6 women selected it, compared with 8 men for Evet and one for boycotting.
