Movimento 5 Stelle didn't just win the day-one snapshot — it started at 42% and climbed to 46%, a share it then held untouched for 20 straight days. 2,638 votes came in, and the gap between first and second place never once narrowed.
The real story is what M5S's rivals couldn't do: Partito Democratico and Lega spent the entire poll boxed into a near-identical 19-20% each, fighting each other for a distant second while the front-runner banked nearly half of every vote cast, worldwide.
