In a Facebook poll of 2,681 respondents, 92.6% chose “Yes”. How we count
This poll never had a contest. "Yes" opened at 96% on day one and settled at 92.6% across 2,681 votes and 292 days — a nine-month stretch without a single day where any rival option came close. "No" finished a distant second at 3.7%, and the three remaining choices split the last 4% between them.
The margin held across borders, too: Pakistan, the US, the UK, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia each posted double-digit vote counts, and every single one of them leaned Yes. Men cast the overwhelming majority of votes (556 of 622 identified), but among women who weighed in, Yes was just as dominant — 65 of the 67 female votes.
