This wasn't close from the first ballot to the last: 2,338 votes — 88% of everyone who showed up — backed the hosts signing with Telecinco to revive SLQH and run it into the ground. The repair-shop alternative never cracked 12%, finishing with 306 votes and zero days above it.
The gap shows up everywhere you slice it. Men and women both piled onto the Telecinco option by roughly the same lopsided ratio, Spain and the United States led the country list without a single top market breaking the other way, and only one voter out of 2,644 was a page fan — this was a crowd of outsiders agreeing on one thing.
