Behind him, three names fought a real contest for last: Carballo, Rios and Camacho finished within 2.3 points of each other, 294 to 352 votes, essentially a dead heat nobody will remember because it happened under a runaway. Uruguay (112 votes) and the U.S. (49) both backed Bentivoglio too, so even the geography never wavered.
