What level to you play Guitar Hero on? (Thanks for the idea Mark! Lets make it official!)

Across 425 days and 4,686 votes, Expert never dipped below roughly half the field — it opened at 57%, drifted as low as 53% mid-run, and settled at 55%. Hard trailed a distant second the entire time, and the gap between them never closed enough to threaten a change at the top.

The real story is who's backing that difficulty: Expert draws 477 men to just 29 women, the most lopsided split of any option, while Beginner and Easy barely register — 1% and 3.7% combined. Top voting countries from the US to Denmark all lean Expert too, so the taste for maximum difficulty isn't a regional quirk, it's the default.

• Steady margin · Expert's share held between 53% and 57% for all 425 days
• Gender skew · Expert voters run 477 men to 29 women, poll's widest gap
• Global agreement · Every top country, US to Italy, leans toward Expert
• Easy mode ignored · Beginner and Easy together drew under 5% of votes
