BEST KPOP SONG 2013
Musician/band by KPOP World Wide(Offical Vote KPOP Page)
In a Facebook poll of 3,759 respondents, 14.9% chose “Girls' Generation - I Got A Boy”. How we count
Girls' Generation grabbed the early edge, 2NE1 snatched it back by day 2 and held on for over three weeks before the lead flipped twice more in a five-day scramble — then it froze. From day 26 onward, across 478 more days and thousands of votes, nobody ever closed the gap again.
The eventual winner topped out at 14.9%, a number that says more about the field than the song: 37 acts splintered the vote so badly that four artists sit within four points of the top, and 85% of voters backed someone else. Henry's 'Trap' cracked the top four on U.S. numbers alone, while EXO's 'Growl' built a quiet, separate base almost entirely out of Thailand.
- Four-day flip war · Lead changed hands 4 times between day 2 and day 26, then locked.
- Winner's ceiling · Girls' Generation won with just 14.9% — a plurality, not a majority.
- Geographic split · EXO's support clustered in Thailand; Henry's ran almost entirely through the U.S.
