Do you prefer Matt when he plays guitar?

This wasn't close. "Yes, more guitar please!" opened with 82% of the vote and never dropped below 73% across 87 days — 1,697 votes to 623, a margin of roughly three to one that held from the first hour to the last.

The scale of the backing tells the real story: 138 UK voters piled in plus strong showings from the US and Ireland, all leaning the same way, while women outvoted men more than 3-to-1 on the winning side (260 to 76). Guitar-lovers didn't just win — they were never seriously challenged.

• Women lead the charge · 260 women vs. 76 men backed more guitar
• UK powers the result · 138 UK votes, more than five times any other country
