In a Facebook poll of 2,332 respondents, 37.3% chose “No, not at all”. How we count
'No, not at all' opened with a 67-point margin on day one and never gave up the lead across all 332 days. By the back half of the poll the gap froze at 37-38%, day after day, straight through to the close. It finished with 870 votes — more than 'Not sure' and 'Yes' put together.
The real story is what never happened: no rival ever consolidated. 'Not sure' (21.1%), 'Yes' (16%), 'Yes, but partially' (14.5%) and 'No, but Optimistic' (11.1%) split the remaining vote four separate ways. Even Nigeria, the president's own country, leaned 'No, not at all' — only the United States, among the top countries, broke toward 'Not sure' instead.
- Combined runner-ups · 870 'No' votes beat 'Not sure' and 'Yes' added together (864).
- Home country agreed · Nigeria itself leaned 'No, not at all,' no home-turf rescue.
- US the outlier · United States was the only top country leaning 'Not sure'.
- Opposition never merged · Four other options split the rest, none topping 21%.
