Jimmy Villavicencio won with 295 votes, edging Patricio Valdivieso by just 14 votes—25.1% to 23.9%. The lead changed hands four times, with Jimmy taking over only in the final stretch after Patricio had led for most of the race.
The field stayed fragmented: Claudio Eguiguren and José Bolivar Castillo each finished near 13%, while five candidates remained within 12 points of the winner.
