The links win big — 86.8% yes, 2401 votes to 364 — but the real story is who's on each side. Women make up roughly 91% of the yes crowd, while the no camp is nearly a third male, more than three times the male share on the yes side. This isn't a close call splitting evenly across genders; it's two different audiences answering two different questions.
Scale backs it up: yes opened at 100% on day one and never dipped below 87% across all 199 days, with zero lead changes. Italy supplied the bulk of located votes and leaned yes throughout, alongside smaller pockets from the US, Albania, Belgium, the UK, Kuwait and Romania — everyone who showed up, showed up for yes.
