The vote opened lopsided: early on Adolf Hitler grabbed 35% to Michael Jackson's smaller share, and that gap barely moved for most of the poll's run — Hitler's cushion held near 31-32% deep into the middle stretch while Jackson trailed in second. Paris Hilton, Obama, and the rest fought for scraps below both.
By the final stretch the composure cracked: Jackson closed hard and finished on top with 31.9% (2,852 votes) to Hitler's 25.4% (2,272), with Paris Hilton a clear third at 16.4%. The undervote was telling too — Hitler's support ran 90% male, Jackson's 76% male, while Paris Hilton drew a majority-female crowd. Austria and Germany voted Jackson; the US and Switzerland stuck with Hitler.
