Which transformation do you like the best?

A late surge decided this one. Krokomummy held the lead from day 2 all the way to day 234 — over 230 days out front — before Fire Elf finally overtook it on day 235 and stayed there the rest of the way, a run more than four times longer than the comeback that beat it.

Nobody ever came close to a majority. Six costumes split the vote so evenly that the winner needed just 696 votes — 24.6% — to finish on top, only 1.5 points ahead of Krokomummy's 23.1%. Skeleton, the original day-1 leader, still pulled 21.5% at the finish, close enough that three different characters could plausibly claim second place.

• The flip · Krokomummy's 233-day lead ended on day 235 when Fire Elf overtook it.
• Photo finish · Winner beat second place by just 1.5 points, 24.6% to 23.1%.
• No mandate · Six-way field meant the winner captured under a quarter of all votes.
• Gender lean · Fire Elf skewed male hardest, 92 men to 49 women among sampled voters.
