Top Rookie of 2015 | VELUX EHF Champions League

Gustavo Cesar Rodrigues never had to fight for the lead — he opened with 54% on day one and only tightened his grip, closing at 56.7% with 2,483 votes to runner-up Lasse Andersson's 513. Almost 1,350 votes poured in from Portugal alone, more than the next three countries combined, turning this into less a race than a home-country coronation.

The real contrast sits in who showed up for each name. Rodrigues pulled a lopsided 85% male crowd, while Andersson's smaller Danish-heavy base ran 44% male — the only finalist where women outvoted men. Blaz Janc, third with 481 votes, drew Slovenia's fans almost as one-sidedly as Rodrigues drew Portugal's, but couldn't match the volume.

• Portugal turnout · 1,350 votes from Portugal alone dwarfed every other country
• Gender split · Rodrigues voters 85% male vs Andersson's 44% male
• Runaway scale · 2,483 votes vs 513 for the second-place finisher
