This wasn't a contest — it was a coronation by margin. Buhari opened with 83% and closed at 82.7%, an 11-to-1 rout over his nearest challenger, Okorocha, who managed just 7.6%. Atiku and Kwankwaso split the also-ran vote almost evenly at 4.3% and 4%, while Sam Nda-Isaiah barely registered at 1.4%.

The real story is who showed up to vote at all: 3,780 of Buhari's 3,783 votes came from people with no fan connection to him, and the diaspora — UK, US, Canada, South Africa — backed him just as hard as Nigeria did. A genuinely global consensus, not a fanbase turnout.

  • 11-to-1 blowout · Buhari's 82.7% dwarfed second-place Okorocha's 7.6%.
  • Not a fan vote · 3,780 of Buhari's votes came from non-fans, only 3 from fans.
  • Global consensus · Nigeria, UK, US, Canada, South Africa all leaned Buhari.
  • Bottom three squeezed · Atiku, Kwankwaso, and Nda-Isaiah combined for under 10%.
