The final tally is decisive without being dramatic: 52.4% of 5,009 voters backed restricting parliamentary immunity to floor speeches, against 46.1% for scrapping it entirely. A mere 1.5% wanted no change at all — the status quo option barely registered, confirming this was a two-way fight over how far to go, not whether to act.

The lead was set almost immediately and held for all 56 days without a single change of front-runner. Early voting settled near 52-54%, ticked up to 56% by day 10, and stayed there through the finish — a stable verdict, not a late surge.

  • Status quo rejected · Only 1.5% of voters wanted to keep immunity unchanged.
  • Slovakia vs. diaspora · Home voters favored limiting immunity; US-based voters leaned toward scrapping it.
  • 56-day lead, zero flips · The winning option led from day 1 through day 56 without interruption.
