“Favorevole” narrowly won the proposal to extend school holidays into September while keeping classes through June, taking 576 votes to “Contrario” at 546. The final margin was 51.3% to 48.7%.

The lead stayed with “Favorevole” at every checkpoint, narrowing from 53% to 51%. Italy, by far the largest country bloc, leaned toward the proposal.
